Cruising Through Colorado
It was 2am and we were at our usual watering hole on another humid, August Friday night. One beer leads to another, and by the time we left the bar we had concrete plans to make up for lost time and fly out to Colorado. Fast-forward to December, and the only camera I have at my disposal would is my dad's disused 2004 Canon point-and shoot digital camera with a wide-angle zoom lens stuck to the front. Thirteen wasted gallons of elbow grease later, and I decided I like the look of the intimacy provided by the circular frame. Through Photoshop I was able to evoke a fast-paced, streaky aesthetic from, mimicking the impulsive decision-making of that August night.
